RESTORATION AND CONSTRUCTION OF THE CHURCH OF THE RESURRECTION IN DEDINOVO COMMUNITY

Dedinovo community, Moscow region

The temple complex in Dedinovo community, Lukhovitsky district of the Moscow region is a unique ensemble of buildings of Russian Orthodox architecture built at different times. The main church – the Church of the Resurrection was built in the early XIX century and is an architectural heritage of regional significance. The Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary was built in the XVII century and is a historical and cultural heritage of federal significance. The construction of the hipped bell tower, the oldest building of the complex, also dates back to the XVII century. The bell tower had been completely lost and is subject to restoration according to ancient drawings and old photographs.

The land plot area is 1.14 ha, the total area of the objects is 3,450 sq. m., the maximum elevation is 42 m.
