Construction of viaduct over the railway at 19th km of Moscow Small Ring Road

The viaduct is at the 19th kilometer of the Moscow Small Ring Road – Pavlovskaya Sloboda – Nakhabino highway nearby Nakhabino platform and overpasses the railway tracks of the Moscow Railway Riga direction. The total length is 1.3 kilometers, while the length of the viaduct itself is about 390 meters. The designed speed traffic on the two-lane overpass is 70 kilometers per hour. The expected capacity is 12.5 thousand cars per day.
“Here under the presidential development program we open a landmark, important overpass that can solve a huge number of problems. I want to congratulate everyone on the opening of the traffic,” Mr.Vorobyov said at the opening ceremony.
159 people and 55 pieces of equipment were involved in the construction of the facility. The total cost of the overpass was 3.674 billion rubles. At the same time, the construction of the overpass was financed from both the federal and regional budgets.
To ensure transport links of the adjacent streets, it is planned to build five exit ramps and extend Stadionnaya Street to Institutskaya Street, as well as major repairs of Institutskaya, 11-ti Saperov and Vokzalnaya Street sections. For the convenience and safety of pedestrians, there is a traffic lights and an aboveground pedestrian crossing equipped with ramps for low-mobility people.
