GORKA Group of companies is the General Designer of a new and significant venue for Russia – the Museum, Theatre and Educational Complex in Kemerovo that undoubtedly can be a new place of attraction not only for local residents but also for a wide range of artists, poets, writers, musicians and other creative minds of the country and abroad.
The concept was developed by globally renowned highly professional creative staff of the world famous Austrian architecture firm COOPHIMMELBLAU that determined the style of the future venue as deconstructivism. The architects of the GORKA Group jointly with their foreign colleagues align the design with local practices, codes and standards.
Preliminary total area of the building is 81,119 m2.
Museum, Theatre and Educational Complex includes:
– Opera and Ballet Theatre – branch of the State Academic Mariinsky Theater;
– Museum Complex – branch of the State Russian Museum;
– Kuzbass Art Center
It is located along embankment of the Iskitimka River
