ENGINEERING SURVEY
Within a market economy, engineering survey serves local tasks related to the construction of highways, the construction of complex and unique objects, ensuring the reconstruction and renovation using new technologies, etc.
GORKA Group delivers complex works that precede the design and construction phases. The main directions include:
– engineering and geodetic survey;
– engineering and geological survey.
Currently, engineering and geodetic survey includes works performed to obtain topographic and geodetic materials and data of situation and relief, existing buildings and structures (ground, underground and aboveground), and other planning elements necessary for a comprehensive assessment of the natural and man-made conditions of the construction and engineering site, operation and removal of objects, as well as for other types of surveys and analysis.
Our company delivers geodetic survey of any scope and complexity with full compliance with the requirements of building codes and the provision of documentation for the works performed.
Our specialists have mastered and widely use such technologies as air photographic survey (APS) and air-laser scanning (ALS) with engineering of digital surface model (DSM). 3D modeling of buildings, structures and infrastructure objects for the BIM modeling complex is provided. Detailed 3D modeling of utilities and engineering networks is of high priority.
The importance of high-quality, comprehensive and expert geodetic surveys is difficult to overestimate, because it affects not only the reliability of the object, but also the total cost of its construction.
Engineering and geological survey helps us to understand the factors and how they can affect the process of construction and operation of capital construction projects, so their importance is difficult to overestimate. The results obtained are also necessary for the development of economically feasible and technically sound solutions.
The company has its own soil laboratory. The objects of the laboratory research and testing are soil, natural water (including surface, underground, and ground water). Physical, mechanical and chemical tests are performed.
The test results are intended to form the general engineering and geological characteristics of a particular building site.
All engineering survey works are performed by experienced in-house specialists who constantly advance their skills. We use only modern equipment subjected to scheduled verification, calibration and certification. We get the most reliable results that we can be sure of, and do not depend on external contractors.
